Should we be taking omega-3 supplementation?
What is the healthiest source of omega-3 we can get?

Omega-3 essential fat doesn't seem to help prevent or treat heart disease. However, it is essential to brain health by helping with cognitive function.

Although many get enough DHA and EPA (fatty acids - omega 3) through eating cold water fish, they may contain various pollutants (PCB's, DDT, chemicals and metals). These pollutants, such as PCB's, can be detrimental to our health, leading to increase risks of cardiovascular diseases.

Pollutant free sources such as algae oil (250mg a day), flax seeds (1 tbsp a day), chia seeds and greens are considered the best way to intake the recommended amount of omega 3 per day.
